The Good Old Artsy Tartsy
Location- In the heart of Arnolds Park and walkable to everything! Many know this property as “Artsy Tartsy” or “The Little Red House on Highway 71″ (with the zebra stripes!). Built in 1926, this historic cottage was recently renovated and restored with the attention to local history and authenticity. This home has tons of character which is reflected throughout. This year round home sleeps 16 in beds (plus 2 in twin pull out beds).
– The main floor features a front solarium enclosed with wall to wall windows with two quaint seating areas. There are original maple hardwood floors throughout the first floor. Tastefully decorated with treasures sourced from local shops and local artists.
– The main living room features a large and comfortable seating area with custom leather sectional, adjoining harvest table (seats 8) and is flanked on one side by a gas fireplace and on the other by a leaded crystal chandelier.
– There is a full kitchen equipped with modern stainless appliances, gas range, dishwasher, and century old butcher block. The kitchen is properly equipped to meet cooking and food preparation needs for a long weekend or week.
– There is a queen bedroom on the first floor adjacent to the first floor tiled bathroom/shower.
– The back entry features all glass with original stonework and is an excellent drop zone after a long day on the lake.
– This opens to a courtyard patio, equipped with a Weber gas grill, and a Weber charcoal kettle grill.
– The second floor features an efficient bunk room which sleeps four. A few steps up is the master bedroom which features a king bed and two sleeping nooks, which each feature two single beds. The center wing of the master features a kids sitting and game area with TV and seating.
– The basement features a smaller family room with TV and two single chairs, which pullout into single beds. There is one bedroom, which features two single beds and ample closet space. There is a full bathroom / shower, fully tiled in white with black accents.

There are two smaller outdoor seating areas for the backhouse. This backhouse rents separately. If you add on this property with the house it will accommodate 20 total.
